For more than 35 years, expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam insulation has been used in a variety of roofing applications and systems. EPS is ideal for new construction as well as retrofit.
EPS is a closed cell , light weight foamed plastic insulation which is compatible with almost all commercial roofing systems. EPS offers high insulation value, excellent moisture resistance, and is versatile which makes it an insulation of choice.
Tapered EPS is a cost effective solution for adding insulation and positive slope to any flat or very low slope roof deck. Tapering is ideal where adding drainage and is key to maximize the performance and longevity of the roofing system. EPS provides the required positive slope while retaining the structural and economic advantages of a flat roof deck. |

- Most versatile roofing insulation; tapered systems, saddles & crickets, flute fill, nail base, and flat insulation
- Consistent long term R-value over the life of the roof
- Lower cost per R-value than many other insulations
- Compatible with common roof assembly components
- Manufactured in four densities; 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, & 2.0 pcf
- EPS density ranges from 10 to 30 psi
|
- Closed cell rigid foam plastic insulation
- Blended recycled EPS resin to be environmental friendly
- EPS insulation is an inert, organic material
- EPS foam insulation does not contain CFC’s or HCFC’s
- Mold resistance; EPS will not support the growth of mold
- EPS is able to withstand the abuse of temperature cycling
